I don’t know about you, but I think those “terms of agreement” or “privacy policies” are a very cold and impersonal way to start off a working relationship with each other. They don’t exactly build up a lot of trust do they? Consider the following some guidelines of how I’d like to with you.
It’s our “agreement for working together”.
I am building Life Skills That Matter because I feel compelled to help as many people enjoy the freedom of being their true self by working on their terms. I’d love the honor of being invited on your journey.
Who I Want to Help
Someone who is tired of living up to the standards of someone else and wants to finally live up to their own standards by learning how to work for themselves by designing their own unique business model that supports their ideal lifestyle. (Of course, this means anyone 18 and older.)
I am not a psychologist, sociologist, therapist or a life coach.
The information presented on this website is based on my own research from books, blogs, podcasts, interviews with experts, published articles and self-experimentation.
I make reasonable efforts to make sure the information I present is accurate and up-to-date, but I do not warrant that any of that information is complete, reliable, error-free or current. As soon as any errors or discrepancies have been made known to me, I will take immediate action to review the content in question. I will either verify it’s validity, update it or remove it from this site.
The content on this website are my opinions only and you should use your own judgement to come to your own conclusions about the content provided on this website.
I believe building a sense of community and sharing stories about possibilities are the most powerful methods for empowering people to make a big change in their lives. Research and experiments from members of this community will be shared on this site with the knowledge that they are merely opinions and not expert advice.
If you are considering making a big change in your life as a result of content you consumed on this site, do your own research, use your own judgement and seek the advice of experts, professionals or sources you trust to help make your decision.

Your information will only be used as anonymous feedback to improve the overall quality of our courses, content, community and communications created for you and the Life Skills That Matters community.
Here are the types of data we may collect to better tailor our content and services for your needs:
- Your email address to send you transactional messages for purchases, updates and announcements.
- When you submit your email, we ask you to identify your stage of self-employment development by clicking on a link that best describes your circumstances. This information is used to send you content most relevant to your stage of self-employment and for no other purpose.
- For our Clarity Call service, we use Calendly to schedule calls. When you schedule your call, we will ask you to respond to a couple of basic questions to help frame the call, so you get the most from your coaching session. Your responses will not be used for any other reason.
- For our Accelerator and Mastermind services, we use Google Forms as part of our enrollment process to learn more about your needs. This information is used for the sole purpose of customizing your Accelerator or Mastermind experience and will be used for no other purpose.
Under no circumstances do we ever sell any of your data, of any kind, to third-party sources. We don’t believe in making money from selling your data. We believe in getting paid for the work we provide: helping you become self-employed.

I honestly want to hear from you! My only measure for success is whether or not I helped our community add value to their lives. The content and courses I create will be guided by the questions and feedback you provide me.
From my experience with managing communities, I know it won’t be realistic to answer every single email I receive, but I’m honestly going to try my best. Here’s how you can contact me.
Your email will never be used for any other purpose than to send you the information you requested, service updates or by opting into one of our newsletters, courses or communities. Under no circumstances will it ever by shared with third-parties.
You will be able to easily opt out of those emails at anytime by either clicking on the “unsubscribe link” at the bottom of any email we send you. I hate spam too and I want to only send communications of value to you.
Make Money By Helping
My financial decisions are guided by funding a business to help as many people as possible, not to make as much money as possible.
I want to keep things simple for you and for me. There aren’t going to be any sales or any other manipulative pricing tactics used to get you to buy my services. I do however, plan on providing special discounts to loyal members as a demonstration of my appreciation.
I will also offer you a 30-day money back guarantee on any service you buy from Life Skills That Matter. I’m not going to make you jump through hoops to get your money back, but I will ask you to take a brief survey to tell me how we can improve our overall services. Let’s help each other improve our lives!
No Advertising or Affiliate Marketing
I was an advertising sales trainer for 12 years. I think advertising and affiliate marketing can be useful when used appropriately, but they won’t be a part of Life Skills That Matter. I only want to serve you and the community, not the needs of advertisers.
When you are in the business of inspiring people to change their lives, trust is everything. I don’t want any grey areas like advertising or affiliate marketing to cloud that trust. I am here to serve you and our community, no one else.
Hold Me Accountable
I make mistakes. I don’t want to make mistakes, but it’s part and parcel of being human. I’m not afraid to admit my mistakes because I have learned I’ll gain more value from them than by trying to sweep them under the rug. It’s OK to call me out when I make one. Email me anytime.
I’m building Life Skills That Matter in partnership with you and our community. I may not always be able to act on your requests, but I will try my best.
Remember, I’m trying to align my limited personal resources and my own vision with your needs. Unfortunately, they might not always align and there are other communities that might be a better fit for your needs than the Life Skills That Matters community.
If you are committed to making a big change in your life and/or career, accountability is everything. I am committed to doing everything I can within the realm of my resources to help you make whatever change you want to in life, but at the end of the day you are ultimately responsible for changing your life.
