Solopreneur Business Coaching
Make more money, control your time, find satisfying work and live your purpose when you work for yourself. . . .
even if you think you don’t have a good business idea, the right skills, connections, funds or time!
I’ll show you how! (Ready to enroll? Scroll to bottom!)
Hey there, my name is Stephen Warley and I want to help you finally figure out how to work for yourself by overcoming all the obstacles that have been holding you back from working on your own.
I want to show you how to make your career more resilient and secure by helping you with one of the following goals:
- How to start a side business to generate extra income.
- How to become a freelancer, consultant or solopreneur, so you can work for yourself full time.
- How to create a Plan B, so you are financially prepared in the event you should lose your income all at once (aka, you get laid off).
I’ve been a solopreneur since I was laid off in 2000. I was once like you. I was highly skeptical of self-employment. Honestly, I didn’t even consider it as an option for living my life.
I was taught that it was too risky, too unpredictable and it’s too much work. I fully embraced the employee lifestyle and did everything I was supposed to do to succeed at being a “good employee”. . . . until I got laid off on Election Day 2000 (the third best day of my life).
I became collateral damage like millions of others in our fast-changing economy. After 5 years I reluctantly accepted the path of self-employment.
I have no regrets. Today I’m happily unemployable and couldn’t imagine ever being an employee again. Working for myself has enabled me to:
- Become financially independent. I can survive the next 8 years without generating any income living my existing lifestyle.
- Have complete control over my time. I typically work an average of 30 hours a week and take up to 8 weeks of vacation a year (I’m not a slacker, just a highly-efficient worker;)
- Maximize my personal productivity. I have organized my workday around my “peak performance period” in the morning when I’m most energized and focused.
- Work from anywhere in the world. In 2010 I ran my business from Seville, Spain for 4 months and I’ve been living nomadically since June 2020.
- Build and sell a passive income business. I generated $600,000 annually, working 30 hours a week on my old sales training business LocalBroadcastSales.
I’m not sharing this stuff to brag, but rather to show what’s possible and I know you can do it too with the right guidance.
By the end of the first 30 days of coaching with me you’ll learn how to:
Find you an extra 5 hours
a week to focus on
becoming self-employed.
Save you a minimum of $500
a month from unproductive
spending.
Meet the first 5 members
of your community to strengthen your support and momentum for achieving your goals.
Draft of your self-employment transition plan to identify your purpose, skills, financial needs and opportunities.
Here’s how I’m going to help you begin your transition toward becoming a solopreneur:
- Provide you with an initial Self-Assessment Evaluation to identify your goals, opportunities and obstacles.
- Weekly 1-hour video call to review your goals, obstacles and overall progress.
- Unlimited questions via email.
- Lay the foundation of your community by helping you find mentors that will accelerate your development, build your first mastermind and connect you with your first customers.
So how much does this coaching cost?
You will get all of the above assessments, weekly calls, unlimited contact via email and introductions to people who can accelerate your growth for $6,000.
You’ll pay $2,000 a month for 3 months OR inquire about paying in full for the entire 90 days for $5,000.
My goal is to more than increase the value of this investment by showing you how to save hundreds of dollars a month on unproductive spending that is out of alignment with your goal of self-employment, as well as put you on track to get your very first sale.
At the end of the day, this is a choice about making an investment in yourself. Only you know if it’s worth it to you.
(Also, if you are currently in the early stages of working on your own or are currently unemployed, this is a potential tax dedication. Talk to your accountant!)
Here’s my guarantee to you:
After the first 30 days, if you don’t feel this Solopreneur Transition Coaching is the right fit for you in any way, you can cancel your membership and I will offer you a full refund! No questions asked. Period.
What’s it like to work with me?
To get to know me a little bit better, I thought it would be helpful to hear from some of the folks I’ve guided along on their self-employment journey . . .
“Stephen Warley is my entrepreneurial Xanax. I can (and have) come to him in total freak out mode. Minutes later, I’m not only calm, I’m energized. He has a special way of showing you how to see the opportunity, remember your deeper purpose and pull the lessons out of disappointments.” – Zachary Sexton, Productivity Coach, Austin, TX
“Stephen has been a terrific coach. He is positive and upbeat, but he also challenges you, so that you can see real progress towards your goals of self-employment.” – Jennifer Rash, Graphic Design Consultant, Milwaukee, WI
“Stephen gives you that one-to-one communication. He is easily contactable on social media and replies back if you were to send him a message. If you want to set up your own business for the first time and want to fire your boss, he’s the guy to help you make it happen.” – Kent Da’orby, Aspiring Men’s Clothing Retailer, London, England
“Stephen is here to cheer you on, to coach you and to be committed to you and your journey. If you know there is an audience waiting for your product or service, but you keep quitting before you start, Stephen will get you unstuck and moving forward in the right direction.” – Pam Davis, Self-Help Artist, Seattle, WA
“Stephen’s support has helped me bring clarity to my work and build confidence during the process of starting my own design practice. He’s keenly aware of when it’s in your best interest to push forward and when to slow down and assess the situation more carefully. I would recommend that anyone starting a business talk to Stephen along the way.” – Lee Robert, Architect, Founder of Bird Works, Boston, MA
“Stephen helped me sift through the information I needed to learn in order to escape the old corporate way of doing things. There is too much information online for someone who doesn’t know who to trust. After working with Stephen, I knew how to go off on my own, what knowledge I needed to learn, and what skills I needed to develop in order to build a successful business. With Stephen’s guidance, I built a digital marketing agency making $200k in revenue.” – Griffin Jones, Founder of Fertility Bridge, Buffalo, NY
“When friends ask how I became a business owner, Stephen’s name always pops into my story. He helped me see my voice’s value in the marketplace. Let him help you find yours.” – Suzi Hunn, Instructional Strategist, Teach Your Thing.com, Minneapolis, MN
One last thing . . .
There’s a lot of outlandishness promises circulating around the Internet about how much money you can make and how quickly you can make it by working for yourself.
As someone who has worked for himself for over 20 years, I’m going to let you in on a little secret. . . .
Self-employment is HARD (at first). That’s probably why so few people do it. BUT with the right guidance I know I can make it a smoother transition for you than it was for me!
The handful of people who claim to make millions in a matter of a few years are the exceptions. The vast majority of millionaires in America today built their fortunes slowly and steadily over years and more likely decades.
They did it by working hard at something they were good at, saving what they earned and then investing what they saved. It’s a simple, yet tried and tested formula for building financial independence.
In our age of instant gratification that might not be something you want to hear, but it worked for me. I want to teach you how to build wealth, not sell you a story on how to strike it rich. I truly believe you’ll end up more satisfied and happier. That’s the real goal, isn’t it?
Yes, self-employment is hard at first, but once you’ve built your very own business model you can work on your terms for years to come.
I’ve made a TON of mistakes over the past 20+ years and I want to help you avoid them as you get ready to live the self-employment lifestyle.
Want to make more money, have more control over your time and work in alignment with your values and needs?
It’s possible! I’d love to show you how!
